Paradise

We have had a of couple really warm, beautiful days here lately and I LOVE it!  I have realized lately that I am just kind of sick of winter!  Mixed in the with those warm days has been really cold, rainy days.  Just a sign that spring is coming and then summer! I can't wait to lay in the warmth of the sun and take refreshing dips in the pool.  Anyway, in light of how I am feeling about our changing seasons I decided to pull out some fun supplies and whip up some summer cards!

I made this card using Laura's sketch over at 2S4Y.  The flowers are cut from some K & Company Paper and the stamp is one of my favorites from CTMH.  It is a super simple card with very few supplies needed.  Gotta love that!

Hope you are all having a wonderful Friday!  I hope to be back more this weekend to share the rest of my summer cards with you!

Supplies:
Paper: K & Company
Stamp: CTMH (Paradise)

The Day You Were Born

Here is a little something I have been wanting to make for about a year!  It's a little mini album with pictures that my best friend Ellie took of us at the hospital the day our son was born!  I absolutely love these pictures and I am soooo glad she brought her camera that day!  Thanks again Ellie!  Enjoy!

Off to watch a movie with my hubby!  Hope you're having a great Saturday night!

ABC...

Hello!  Just thought I would hop on here real quick to show you the card I managed to find time to make this week using Kazan's sketch over at 2S4Y.  I'm still in the process of getting my new scraproom organized but I had to stop and create something real quick in order to give myself a boost of motivation.  Now if I could just figure out how to motivate my hubby  to hang some shelves for me...hmm...any ideas?

Hope you're all having a great Thursday!

All supplies by Cosmo Cricket except button by Making Memories & floss by Karen Foster.  I also used my Cuttlebug for the little embossing.

Birthday Fun!

Sorry that I have really been slacking on this here blog of mine!  I just can't seem to get myself organized these days.  We moved, then had family in town along with my son's first birthday party, and now I have got my hands full with my little guy  being sick.  I am hoping it is just a cold and not the flu!  Yuck!

Anyhoo, I just thought I would jump on here today and let you know I haven't totally disappeared and show you some things I put together for my son's b-day party as promised.  His favorite toys are balls...they have been since he was really little!  So we decided to do a ball-themed party.

The invitations I cut using my Cricut, and then I finished it off by adding some buttons by American Crafts.

The party favors made using recycled baby food jars, red spray paint, some My Mind's Eye paper, twill, my Cricut, and CK Printer Font.

And a little banner I threw together real quick for the occasion using some My Mind's Eye Paper, my Cricut, and some orange pom-poms.

Hope you are all having a wonderful Monday!

I'm back...

For the most part we are settled into our new house.  I still have a little organizing and A LOT of cleaning to do but our internet is  hooked up and my scraproom is somewhat organized (I'll show photos once it is finished.  It is the only room we have painted in the house so far and I am really happy with the colors!  I am hoping that I will be able to start creating a few new projects here soon but this week I am going to be busy planning our son's first birthday party.  I will post pictures soon of the invitations I sent out and the little party favors I am making using recycled baby food jars.  We have lots of family coming into town for the celebration...it should be fun!

Here is a page that I created before we moved.  This was the picture I used on our Christmas card this year!  The photo was taken by my amazingly talented photog friend Ellie Grover!

Hope you are all having a wonderful Monday!
