Love Birds
Well, I guess I can't get enough of these cute love birds by Kim Hughes! Here is another card I used them on!
Just wanted to let you know I may be a bit of a ghost here on my blog over the next couple of weeks! My husband and I decided this past weekend that we are going to be moving in TWO WEEKS! So, needless to say I have a lot to do over the next couple weeks with packing and planning our son's 1st birthday party! I will try to stop by here and show you a few things I have been working on, but hopefully I will be back going strong once we get settled. We are moving out of our little two bedroom apartment into a 3 bedroom house with a pool! Which means I will have MY OWN SCRAP-ROOM! Well, at least until another baby comes along. :)
Don't forget I have lots of stamps for sale! See this post or check my Etsy Store!
Hope are are all having a great Tuesday!

The last of the presents!
Here are the last two Christmas presents that I made for some men in my life! Sorry the pictures are kind of yellow. The first is a bookmark I made for my husband. He said all he wanted for Christmas we for me to make him a bookmark with a picture of our son and I on it along with something reminding him of how much he has to be thankful for! Isn't that so sweet?! So here is what I came up with, and he loved it! :)
Patterned Paper: Basic Grey
Fonts: CK Printer, CK Card Starters (scrapnfont.com)
Other: Cricut Fabulous Finds Cartridge (Provo Craft), eyelet, twill
This second present I made for my dad. He is one of those guys that is never in want for anything...just always content with what he has. I made him this frame using a photo matte I had sitting around and put it on a little easel. I think he liked it!

Some sketch challenges!
Wow, I am tired! It has been a wonderful week celebrating Christ's birth and I feel a bit worn out, but it feels good! It was our first Christmas with a child and my husband and I discovered it is sooo fun, but not as relaxing as former years. :) Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

A whole flock of presents!
(front)
(back)
(inside)
I had a little gift exchange yesterday with three good friends! These were the gifts I gave them. I am always looking for a good, cute journal. I am very particular about my journals. I like them to be spiral (easier to write in because it can lay flat), lined (because I have major problems trying to write straight without lines), and CUTE of course! I don't know if everyone else feels the way I do about journals, but I wanted to try and find a way to make my own journals and this is what I came up with!
I used a Five Star 5"x7" notebook, some Basic Grey Paper, the new Nestabilities Bird Die Cut from Spellbinders, some ribbon, and some sewing thread. Maybe I will post a tutorial later on how I put these together!
And look at the cute things they gave me! Davi gave me a new Hero Arts stamp set! I cannot wait to play with it!!! Thanks Davi!
We seem to have had a bird theme going on this year cause Lorie made me this adorable little bird...
...and this cute little place for me to keep diapers and wipes (not sure what the official name is). I have totally been wanting one of these since my little guy is almost one and I am getting a little sick of carrying my diaper bag everywhere. Now I can throw this in my purse and leave the diaper bag in the car! Thanks Lorie!
Hope you are all having a wonderful Christmas Eve!
